Engineering Apprenticeships

At MAKE Metalwork, we recognise that investing in talent is essential for our future success. Our Engineering Apprenticeship Scheme is designed to cultivate the skills and expertise needed in our industry.

Since launching our apprenticeship programme, we have welcomed multiple apprentices, providing them with invaluable experience and support throughout their training. Over the course of three years, apprentices rotate through various departments to gain a comprehensive understanding of our operations before specialising in a specific area.

Training Structure:

Year 1
Apprentices explore all departments, keeping a logbook to document their learning. This foundational experience helps them make informed decisions about their future specialisation.

Years 2 & 3
Apprentices focus on their chosen department, attending college for theoretical learning while undergoing practical assessments. Regular support from mentors ensures they meet their educational requirements.

We are committed to nurturing our apprentices, as demonstrated by the success stories of previous participants who have advanced to roles within our engineering team. If you’re eager to kickstart your career in engineering, we want to hear from you!

We value punctuality, reliability, and a genuine interest in engineering. Even if you have limited experience, we appreciate enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
